Come Join Us & Support Our Interns!

Every year, APAPA Tri-Valley Chapter (TVC) welcomes and encourages high school and college students to apply to our Summer Internship Program. Once selected, our Internship Program assigns and places interns with our many partners: local/regional/state elected offices or regional/state public organizations. Our interns get a close-up look at issues a public office/organization faces, and learn the procedures and policies used to help solve them for the public. 

Not only do our interns get leadership and advocacy experience with our internship, but TVC provides professional training like Constituency Communication and Office Etiquette. Interns get even more help to prepare them for both school and work when they participate in the practical workshop offerings from the APAPA National Internship team that are available to chapter interns.

Come join us on September 10, from 3pm - 5pm as we celebrate and congratulate the group of TVC interns completing our program for the summer of 2022! It will take place at Amador Ranch Center (1998 Rancho Park Loop) in San Ramon, and our interns will share their projects. Tickets are $50/person and food and beverages will be included. There will also be silent auction with great items to bid on, including: college essay writing guidance & proofreading services; free academic evaluation and tutoring; Southwest airline tickets, and more!

All proceeds will benefit this valuable program and our current and prospective interns. Help fund this special internship that helps to develop our future leaders!
